I downloaded the XP service pack 3, no worries as yet. Apparently nothing goes wrong so far... But as most had mentioned it seemed to take ages to install.
Think the most common problem after installing is -->
endlss reboots after installing on an HP Pavilion equipped with AMD Athlon 64 processor, the system could not load Windows and kept rebooting.
